Landsea’s Response to COVID-19
To our Landsea Community,
Landsea Tours & Adventures has been welcoming travellers to Vancouver for over 35 years and we pride ourselves on offering high-quality, boutique sightseeing tours around Vancouver and the surrounding area. During these unique times, we are committed to offering award-winning products as we proudly do, using enhanced precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our guests and colleagues who deliver our tours to you.
While media sources have been quick to provide real-time updates on the virus, we highly recommend you rely on trusted and respected health services when researching and communicating about COVID-19.
Canada continues to remain largely unaffected by COVID-19 with the public health risk of contracting the virus being low. Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and the Cruise Lines International Association have implemented strict measures to prevent the transmission and spread of COVID-19, including a more rigorous screening process during booking and transit, and the denial of passage to any person that has travelled to largely affected parts of the world.
We are also doing our part to mitigate transmission. Our in-house vehicle detailers meticulously wipe down handrails, steering wheels, door handles, armrests, seatbacks, and all hard surfaces on our vehicles with a virucidal disinfectant. Throughout their day, our Tour Guides and Drivers are also wiping down hard surfaces on their bus with virucidal disinfectant.
Additionally, you can book with confidence knowing that our daily sightseeing tours are fully cancellable up to 24-hours in advance of your tour in exchange for a credit to be used towards a future tour. If you have an existing booking that has been prepaid, or a deposit has been accepted for a group booking that has now cancelled, the amount will be held as a credit for one calendar year to be applied to a future booking. The calendar year associated with credit will align with your original booking date. This credit will expire in one year at which time you may request a full refund for all unused credit.
And when you join us on tour, we please ask you mindfully do your part to ensure a healthy touring environment. Please clean your hands with soap and water and wash for at least 20 seconds. In the absence of hand washing, using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer is the next best thing. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands. Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or flexed elbow. Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms. And if you feel like you have a cold or flu-like symptoms, please choose to stay home or in your hotel room.
We look forward to warmly welcoming all our guests this spring and summer season while upholding all necessary precautionary measures to ensure your safety and comfort while on tour. Our promise to you is that we will continue to be proactive in implementing all necessary safety measures regarding the status of COVID-19 in Canada.
