Job Opportunity:

Do you enjoy talking to new people from all over the world and going out of your way to make their day? With our new Hop On, Hop Off tours launching in spring 2019, we are looking for customer-oriented sales team members to work a flexible full-time schedule. Our Journey Ambassador team are responsible for Hop On, Hop Off tour and attraction ticket sales as well as facilitating guest inquiries at various outdoor stops around the city.

A day in the life of a Journey Ambassador team member:

  • Responsible for conducting sales for the Hop On, Hop Off tour and various attractions around the city
  • Must be passionate, have integrity, be adaptable, and be a team player
  • Be warm, friendly and welcoming to all guests and team members
  • Assist guests with booking Landsea and partner tours and attractions
  • Professionally handle guest queries and concerns
  • Accurately collect tour & attraction fares and complete corresponding paperwork
  • Maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing appearance in accordance with company standards
  • Enjoy working outdoors year-round
  • Requires standing/walking outdoors for extended periods of time
  • Available to work a full time schedule including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays

What you bring:

  • Strong knowledge of downtown Vancouver including key attractions and experiences
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing schedule
  • Administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Fluent in English, written and oral (Ability to speak a second language is an asset)
  • Previous tourism experience or knowledge of industry is an asset
  • Ticket transaction experience is an asset
