TOUR INFORMATION
Our Peak & Canyon Tour begins in the coastal rainforest of the Capilano Canyon. Then venture to the peak of a local mountain all on Vancouver’s North Shore. As the best option to immerse yourself in the extraordinary nature surrounding the city, your adventure includes admission to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and Grouse Mountain Resort.
At Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, cross the famous suspension bridge spanning a heart-pounding 137 metres (450 feet) across and 73 metres (230 feet) above Capilano River. Make sure to allow time to explore the Treetops Adventure and CliffWalk, as well as the extensive grounds of the park.
Rising 1,250 metres (4,100 feet) above Vancouver, Grouse Mountain offers an incredible chance to observe the city below and partake in an array of activities. Meet the resident Grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola, have lunch at one of the many dining options, and catch one of the nature-based films playing at Theatre in the Sky.
This tour is a perfect option for those going on a cruise. With our luggage handling service, we pick you up along with your luggage and, while you are on your, our Luggage Handler will transfer your luggage to your cruise ship all for a small additional fee.

Lions Gate Bridge – Connecting downtown to North Vancouver, the Lions Gate Bridge originally streamlined Vancouver’s distinct automobile culture as those in the suburbs gained faster access to the city. Now it serves as our gateway to nature as we cross the Burrard Inlet.
Capilano Suspension Bridge Park – At Vancouver’s oldest attraction, cross this legendary bridge spanning 70 m (230 ft) high and 137 m (450 ft) long. Next, wander through the 250-year-old canopies with the Treetop Adventures platforms. Lastly, brave the CliffWalk, a 213 m (700 ft) cantilevered walkway 30 storeys high following along the side of a granite cliff (admission included).
Grouse Mountain Resort – Escape into the vast mountain playground as you ride up 1,200 metres (3,700 feet) on the Skyride Gondola. Try the dining amenities at the Peak Chalet while checking out the impressive city sights and the Theatre in the Sky for nature-based films. Make sure to say hello to Grinder and Coola, the resident grizzly bears and local celebrities. Once orphaned, they now serve as symbols for conservation efforts (admission included).
Hotel, Cruise Terminal, Airport or Train Station Drop Off – Drop off available at the Cruise Ship Terminal, your downtown Vancouver or Richmond hotel, Vancouver International Airport (YVR), VIA Rail or Rocky Mountaineer.

1. What Should I Wear?
Dress in layers for the day, including a warm shirt or outer layer. We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes. We store all excess items on the vehicle while you’re exploring.

2. Is This Tour Accessible?
Guests can expect a minimal to moderate level of walking throughout the tour. The Capilano Suspension Bridge can be slippery, involves steep stairs, and does not allow strollers, crutches or wheelchairs on the bridge. Grouse Mountain features mainly unpaved walkways and inclines.

3. Is This Pre-Cruise Tour?
Yes! If you’re a cruise ship passenger, this tour makes for an excellent pre-cruise option. We offer luggage handling and drop off at Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal at the end of your tour for an additional fee.

4. What’s the Difference between Peak & Canyon and Mountain Discovery Tour?
The Mountain Discovery Tour features a stop at the Capilano Salmon Hatchery and additional time at Grouse Mountain. The Peak & Canyon Tour is a pre-cruise option while the Mountain Discovery is a post-cruise option.

5. What if I Don’t Want to Cross the Capilano Suspension Bridge?
There is still much to explore for those who do not want to cross the bridge. You can experience CliffWalk, the Story Centre, Gift shop, Indigenous art and enjoy something to eat from the food and beverage vendors.
