TOUR INFORMATION
Experience the unique history and evolving splendour as you tour the modern streets of Vancouver. On this narrated, four-hour Vancouver City Highlights Tour, drive by the city’s best sights and learn how Vancouver became the city it is today. Perched on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and framed by British Columbia’s imposing mountains, it’s easy to fall in love with this astonishing city.
Drive through historic neighbourhoods such as Gastown, Chinatown, scenic English Bay and the picturesque Vancouver Harbour. Stops in Stanley Park feature Indigenous Peoples’ Totem Poles, as well as spectacular views of the mountains and the Lions Gate Bridge. Also, wander through the charming farmer’s market at Granville Island.
Due to the closure of the Granville Island Public Market on December 26 and every Monday in January, we will visit an alternative stop.
Complimentary Hotel or Cruise Terminal Pick Up – Pick up from the Cruise Terminal, your downtown Vancouver or Richmond hotel and meet your tour guide. Ask about our luggage handling service.
Stanley Park Totem Poles – It is one of the most visited attractions in British Columbia for a reason. Learn the legends surrounding the ancient Indigenous Peoples’ Story Poles, across from the white sails of Canada Place, located near the entrance to Stanley Park.
Stanley Park Prospect Point – Reach the highest point in Stanley Park, our 1001-acre playground, and gaze upon the bustling Lions Gate Bridge, set against a stunning backdrop of magnificent mountains and the sparkling Pacific Ocean.
Granville Island – Home to freshly baked treats, restaurants, unique boutiques, and artisan galleries, Granville Island and the Public Market is a perfect place to eat, shop and watch the hustle and bustle of the city.
Due to the closure of the Granville Island Public Market on December 26 and every Monday in January, we will visit an alternative stop.
Chinatown – Although the Chinatown of today is an ever-growing part of town, the red lamp posts lining the streets and the Millenium Gate marking the entrance are reminders of how this neighbourhood came to be.
Gastown – This National Historic Site is home to the statue of Gassy Jack Deighton and the Gastown Steam Clock. Wander through the cobblestone streets and some of the oldest architecture of the city. Get something to eat or drink at one of the many fine-dining restaurants or from one of the more casual pubs or bars.
Canada Place – One of the busiest areas in town, visit Canada Place to see the 2010 Olympic Cauldron, FlyOver Canada, some of Vancouver’s contemporary art displays and the unforgettable views of Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains.
English Bay – Imagine going for a walk along sandy shores and the ocean breeze with the Pacific Ocean on one side and palm trees on the other. That’s right – we’re talking about Engish Bay, one of the city’s best urban beaches.
Hotel, Airport, Cruise Terminal or Train Station Drop Off – Drop off available at the Cruise Ship Terminal, your downtown Vancouver or Richmond hotel, Vancouver International Airport (YVR), VIA Rail or Rocky Mountaineer.
Notes: We provide luggage handling making this an ideal tour for pre or post-cruise guests. Pre-cruise passengers are picked up at their hotel along with their luggage. While they sightsee, we transfer luggage from the hotel to the cruise terminal. The cruise terminal staff then delivers it directly to staterooms. Post-cruise passengers are picked up at Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal. Luggage is secure on the vehicle during the tour.

WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING
”This excursion is amazing! The tour guides are top notch. I had no idea this city was so diverse and beautiful. The tour guides did an excellent job and kept us on time. I was perfect for cruisers, as they delivered your luggage to the porters at the ship. You never had to worry about them from the point you stepped onto their tour bus.”
Mary, Iowa
“This service was EXCELLENT. We were picked up at our airport hotel in the morning, had a wonderful tour of the city and then were dropped off at Canada Place along with our luggage to board our ship. We had an amazing guide, we got a great overview of the city. We never could have accomplished so much in so little time on our own. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”
Ruhskis, Vail, Colorado
“Excellent Post-Cruise Option. We really felt we had a sense of Vancouver’s culture from a 3rd generation Vancouverite. This is a wonderful way to get a glimpse of beautiful Vancouver if you have a short time – or want to get your bearings for further exploration on your own.”
