TOUR INFORMATION
This tour includes all of the best parts of our Whistler & Shannon Falls Tour with an amazing, once in a lifetime seaplane flight from Whistler to Vancouver.
Continue along one of Canada’s most scenic drives that follows an ancient glacial fjord, passes the second-largest granite monolith in the world, and winds through an endless range of mountains. Along the way, enjoy a scenic stop at Shannon Falls Provincial Park. Near the base of the falls, you will find a platform that offers the best views of the aptly named Shannon Falls.
Upon arriving in Whistler, your free time to explore the chalet-style village will begin. Opt to sightsee along the cobblestone walkways, stepping into the boutique stores or having lunch at one of the restaurants. There are countless patios to choose from to embrace the views of the towering mountains and sprawling forests. Visit the stunning Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre and take advantage of a unique opportunity to learn about the culture and traditions of the local First Nations Peoples.
For those looking for something a little different, ask your tour guide about what seasonal activities are available. Whether you are visiting in summer or winter, there is a wide array of activities to suit every guest.
The day will come to a close with you flying over some of the most breathtaking landscapes and landing atop the waters around downtown Vancouver.
Complimentary Hotel Pick Up – Pick up from your downtown Vancouver or Richmond hotel and meet your tour guide.
Squamish Adventure Centre – Get a coffee, use the washroom or talk with your tour guide about additional activities available during your free time in the village.
Whistler Village – Cobblestone walkways will lead you through the chalet-style Whistler Village. Choose a patio, sit back and relax as you take in the mountain air or enjoy an add-on activity such as a trip to the Scandinave Spa, ziplining or another seasonal activity.
Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre – A beautiful and unique opportunity to learn more about the history, culture and art of the local First Nations. You can either enjoy walking through at your leisure or join one a one-hour guided tour (admission included).
Please note that the museum is closed on Mondays for the winter season.
Shannon Falls – Rushing water, pools and streams all make for picture-perfect scenery at this stop. Learn a bit of history about the Shannon Falls Provincial Park while visiting.
Sea to Sky Highway – Snow-capped coastal mountains, granite monoliths and a glacial fjord make this road from Vancouver to Whistler one of Canada’s most scenic drives.
Hotel, Airport or Train Station Drop-off – Downtown Vancouver or Richmond hotels, Vancouver International Airport (YVR), or VIA Rail.

1. What Should I Wear?
It is always best to dress in layers for the day no matter the season. In the summer, comfortable walking shoes with pants or shorts and a light jacket should be enough for the day. Travelling here in winter conditions requires snow boots, warm jackets, gloves, mittens. If needed, we can store any extra gear on the bus.
-
2. Is This Tour Accessible?
Guests can expect a minimal to moderate to a high level of walking, depending on the activities selected. Most of Whistler Village is paved but, many add-on activities include trails not paved. The walk to the Shannon Falls observation platform is five to ten-minute in length along an unpaved, inclined path.
-
3. Is This Pre-Cruise Tour?
Unfortunately, our Whistler & Shannon Falls Tour is not compatible with cruise ship arrivals or departures.
-
4. Can I Book Activities Myself?
You can book activities yourself; however, all excursions must be booked within 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm to ensure you can meet your guide at the specified meeting time. Please let our Guest Services Team or your Tour Guide know if this is your plan.
-
5. Do You Sell the Peak 2 Peak Gondola?
At this time, we are not selling the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. If you are interested in this attraction, we suggest heading there first since the wait times for ticket purchasing and boarding can be unpredictable.
