TOUR INFORMATION
Prepare to experience the unique history and unfolding splendour as you tour through the modern streets of Vancouver. Drive by the most renowned sights and learn how Vancouver became the city it is today. Situated on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and framed by British Columbia’s imposing mountains, it’s easy to fall in love with this astonishing city.
Drive through historic neighbourhoods such as Gastown, Chinatown, scenic English Bay and the picturesque Vancouver Harbour. Stops in Stanley Park feature Indigenous Peoples’ Totem Poles, spectacular views of the mountains and the Lions Gate Bridge. Also includes the opportunity to wander through the charming farmer’s market at Granville Island.
Complimentary Hotel or Cruise Terminal Pick Up – Pick up from the Cruise Terminal, your downtown Vancouver or Richmond hotel and meet your tour guide. Ask about our luggage handling service.
Stanley Park Totem Poles – Learn the legends surrounding the ancient Indigenous Peoples’ Story Poles, across from the white sails of Canada Place, located near the entrance to Stanley Park.
Stanley Park Prospect Point – Gaze upon the bustling Lions Gate Bridge set against a stunning backdrop of the magnificent North Shore mountains and the sparkling Pacific Ocean.
Granville Island – Cafes, boutiques, and artisan galleries line the streets of this stop. Head into the centrally located Granville Island Public Market for delectable treats.
Due to the closure of the Granville Island Public Market on December 26 and every Monday in January, we will visit an alternative stop.
Chinatown – Developed at the turn of the last century by Chinese immigrants who came to work during the gold rush and railroad construction, the Chinatown of today is a bustling reminder of the past.
Gastown – What was the original downtown core is now a National Historic Site lined with cobblestone streets and the city’s oldest architecture. See the statue of Gassy Jack Deighton, one of the city’s most infamous entrepreneurs and keep an ear out for the tunes of the steam-powered clock.
Canada Place – The iconic five white sails ensure that Canada Place is a prominent feature in Vancouver’s skyline. Home to the conference centre, Cruise Ship Terminal, FlyOver Canada and the Olympic Cauldron, there’s always something happening down at Canada Place.
English Bay – Head out of Stanley Park and along one of the city’s urban beaches with seaside walkways, water vistas, and sandy beaches, while the locals enjoy the ocean breeze under the palm trees.
Hotel, Airport or Train Station Drop Off – Drop off available at the Cruise Ship Terminal, your downtown Vancouver or Richmond hotel, Vancouver International Airport (YVR), VIA Rail or Rocky Mountaineer.
